Vicki Sims

Co-Director & Physical Therapist 

Vicki Sims, PT, CHT is a 1976 graduate of Georgia State University. She has practiced in the Gainesville, Georgia community
since graduating. She is Clinical Co-Director of Gainesville Physical Therapy. She has served as Director of Physical Therapy
at Lanier Park Regional Hospital for nine years. Her clinical specialties include evaluation and treatment of sacroiliac
joint dysfunction, hand therapy and orthopedic manual therapy.

Vicki is active in research and has co-authored four clinical papers on the sacroiliac joint. In addition to her practice,
since 1994 she has been teaching continuing education courses including “The Evaluation and Treatment of Lumbar Spine and
Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction.” Vicki had the distinction of being invited to speak at the 1995 International Conference on
Sacroiliac Joint and Low Back Pain in San Diego, California.

Vicki co-authored three articles for publication and was invited to present at the 5th World Congress on Lower Back and
Pelvic Pain in Melbourne, Australia in 2004. She has also written “The Definitive Book on the Treatment of SI Joint Dysfunction.”

Hollie Mann

Marketing Director &                     Patient Co-ordinator

Hollie has been with Gainesville Physical Therapy since 2010. She attended Piedmont College and Studied Mass Communications.
She is the Marketing Director for the clinic and the Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction Patient Coordinator . Hollie assists in
scheduling all medical appointments related to the treatment of sacroiliac joint dysfunction. She also provides recommendations
for accommodations, lodging and transportation.

Hollie is very active in assisting Vicki Sims, PT, CHT, with SI research and patient care. She facilitated many improvements
to and edited the second edition of “The Secret Cause of Low Back Pain.” Hollie works very closely with Vicki to advocate
for SI patients and increase awareness of the debilitating dysfunction.

In addition to her role as the SI patient coordinator, she oversees all marketing efforts for Gainesville Physical Therapy
and serves as the community liaison.

Dr. Weiss

M.D. Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Weiss, MD is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, earned his Medical Degree at Tulane University School of Medicine
and completed his Internship at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery
at Georgia Baptist-Scottish Rite Hospitals and his Fellowship in Sports Medicine with James R. Andrews, MD, at the Hughston
Orthopaedic Clinic in Columbus, Georgia. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy
of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the American Medical Association, Medical Association of Georgia, a Past President of
the Hall County Medical Society and a past Chief of Surgery at Lanier Park Hospital. His specialty interests include Arthroscopic
Shoulder and Knee Surgery, ACL Reconstruction, Total Joint Replacements, General Orthopaedics and SI dysfunction. He has
been mentored by Dr. Alan Lippitt, orthopedist who specialized in SI surgery for 25 years and is well published in this field.
